The main United Nation Convention on Road Traffic governing the issuing and the acceptance of a competent driver's National Driving Permit was first held in Geneva, 19 September 1949 and another one in Vienna, 8 November 1968. Both internationally known Conventions have been signed and put into practice until today by more than 180 countries, including European and non- European countries.
International Driver's Document Translation Centre © specializes in the provision of a passport sized, multilingual translation reference guide of a driver's driving permit. The International Driver's Document Translation Guide ™ can be used by drivers of every nationality in all cooperating countries.
The International Driver's Document Translation Guide ™ has been compiled to assist holders of valid driving permits in overcoming language barriers, when driving outside of their home country. It also serves to aid foreign authorities in better understanding the information stated in a driver’s government-issued Driving License.

The International Driver's Document Translation Guide ™ uses fourteen languages. English is the main language used. Then also for purpose of reference French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, Arabic, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Italian, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian and Punjabi (India) is used.
